Ripple Afgan

Before my second surgery I was able to finish this afgan for the family room.

I used our new rug as a color guide for the yarns.

I loved how it turned out. It was very easy once I got used to the pattern. And it's done just in time for the cooler weather we're having this week.

Love the colors and love the rug. Braided rugs are the best. We are looking for one for our front room. They last forever.

What a lovely afghan! Hope your recovery is progressing as it should.
Our oldest daughter spent some time this week in Bloomington. Is that anywhere near you?

Hi Cindy,
I just came over via Elizabeth...I love this afghan! But can I ask, where did you get that lovely rug? The colors are so pretty! And your tags for the swap are wonderful! Nice to meet you! Sandy from 521 Lake Street. :)
