Meet the Twins

These little guys were born last Saturday after only about 4 hours of labor! Klaus is the oldest, but the smallest and he has red hair. Jasper is about one pound bigger and he has brown hair. They are just perfect! Mom and Dad are doing great, though just a little tired:)

We took care of Tad for the weekend while they were in the hospital. He was such a sweetheart, but he wore us out. We had forgotten just how much energy a three year old has!

Next weekend our oldest son is coming home so he can see the babies. It will be good to have our family all together for a few days, just the way I like it!

Our girls, to be 40 on Dec. 23rd, were only one day early, and they each weighed 5 pounds 3 ounces! Their big sister, 20 months older, had been a week early and weighed 5 pounds 13 ounces. Yes, I know what it is like to carry twins! We didn't have the advantage of knowing there were two coming, either!

I definitely send aong the very best wishes to the family and wish them well. Sleep deprivation seems to be a common malady for parents of newborns. Maybe even grandparents. Enjoy!

Congrats! How exciting. I know what you mean about watching the grandchildren. I had little Otto over night by myself and I couldn't move when he went home yesterday! Love it though. Enjoy the babies!
