Fall Decor

I hope everyone had a great Halloween weekend. Saturday was rainy, but stopped during Trick or Treat hours. Yesterday was beautiful. A great day to clean up the garden and go for a long walk.

I die cut these leaves, embossed the veins with white, and used Distress Inks to add color and shading. I loved how they turned out.

I love these little lights under the cabinet and swirled in with the leaves. They are orange and add a warm glow to the kitchen in the evening.

Darn, it looks like dust on the photo! I don't know how to crop these for the blog - guess I need to learn:)

I wanted to share pictures of the grandsons on Halloween, but they didn't turn out very well. My camera died when we were in Utah and I have been taking pictures with my phone - not very good at it. But I just ordered a new camera and I can't wait to start using it.

I hope you enjoyed seeing a little of my home decorated for fall. I will be putting the few Halloween things away this week and thinking about Thanksgiving and Christmas.(Can you believe it!) Have a great week everyone and thank you for stopping by and visiting with me!

Everything looks so cozy and warm, Cindy! Love those hand-crafted leaves - hard to believe they are not real:) All of your beautiful handcrafted quilts, pillows and needlework really make a house a home. I had one of those chicken spice cupboards, but I gave it to my sister. My Mom collected the Pfaltzgraff pottery. I've always loved it. If you have 'Windows' you can go into your 'picture' file - double click on your photo and click on 'edit' to bring up the tool bar with the cropping tool. This is about the only technical advice I can give. ha ha! Mostly I do things by accident. Hope you have a lovely week. x Karen

I really enjoyed looking at all your wonderful fall goodies. So fun. I will hate to see fall slip away into winter.

Your fall decorating is beautiful Cindy! I seriously thought those leaves on the garland were real. I love the greenery and lights with the little scale on your counter. I may have to try something similar, it's so pretty!

Unfortunatley, my life is quite busy and does not allow me to sit too Long in front of my PC at home...

Of course, you may "borrow" some of the decorations you saw on my site! I am glad if I insprired you! Your fall decoration is very pretty, too!
